Feeling damn bloody emo now. I tried to glue back the pieces of your broken heart but just could not restore it to its former glory. I'm terribly sorry, i was just too blunt that moment, didnt consider your thoughts. Haiz. Just a footnote >>>>. cristiano ronaldo does not deserve the Ballon d'Or award. Although Torres seems to be out of form this season. Darn. Thursday, October 9, 2008, 7:21 PM
Today had fun while trying our best to practice for the "girly man" dance for ortus nite tomorrow. Wtf. Are we seriously going to perform that dance? Shit lah, it is damn freaking funny just that I hope it will not cause us an embarrassment tomorrow. lol Got back English, Literature and Math papers today. Quite ok lah. Hope I can get 1.00 msg like last year, just praying that I won't screw up for my Chinese paper. Lol. Tomorrow will be a damn long day. Chinese paper collection in the morning, followed by slacking then practicing the dance and then slacking and rehearsing and waiting till 5.30pm for the beginning of ortus nite. Hope it will be fun lols. Tuesday, September 9, 2008, 3:40 PM
LAGGED
I shall be posting about MAF which happened juz last wednesday. WOW. I think I really bother to update stuff immediately. Reached there at about 7.35am, met Benjamin NG as started playing summer games. I thought we were supposed to have a briefing actually about the program, but nonetheless just continued to slack. Hahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahhaahhahahahahahahahahahaha. Nice one. Icebreakers were so...lol in my group. Haha, everyone felt quite sian with the whacko, so we joined another group and of course it made it better, but not many of us were enthu. Probably tired lah. Proceeded on with the games stations, haha. Joshua and his amazing ideas just surfaced. Yang tao also and cheng jie. Peeping at the sentence that we were supposed to form. LOL. zhunsong caught them in the act, but anyway, we still got i think the maximum marks possible....our group cheated......cheat...cheat.....cheat.... The rest of the stations were quite ok. Just that we didnt manage to get there in the expected time. Lol, it was already 10.56 am when yijing said must end the games by 11am. We were gang1 hao3 going to our second last station. hahahaahahhaaha. had lunch later. No appetite though. xD Xiaozhu continued later on, haha. I got pooned in yangqin. NY owns. Joshua was like niaoing me from the beginning lah. "Eh, you.....aiya, ok let's start with u, the most suck..." @#$%^&*(! So you could tell i got _________in dazhu. Waterbombs followed. I thought it was raining at first. Heehee. Snatched a lot of bags and started throwing them around. Sec 4s were damn funny. Taking pails and smashing everyone. *******************especially yijing**************************quite fun. Caught the flu that I expected already. Sneezing in the toilet. Sianz. So prone la. ZAIZAIZAIZAI3. Then we had a short play by the OT..haha....funny sia..(nt gonna tok abt it lurh) Got scolding by the teacher cos we dirtied the place.haha.held back for a while.supposed to clean the toilets, but NY kindly offered their help. Ok, went home after that. Was so.............. haha. overall it was a damn fun activity. THX MAF'08 OT. lols.. EOYs are coming..... GG liao. BB Haha, I still can remember so much abt MAF. My memory is not failing me. * Woots* =D Thursday, August 21, 2008, 7:52 PM
Hehehe, but soccer is first. Liverpool can never do without Fernando Torres and Alonso. Look at that delightful touches of the ball that split the whole Sunderland defense in the dying moments of the game. With a 25 yard rocket, he shook the stadium. Smashing the ball to the left of the net, giving Craig Gordon no chance at all. Liverpool seemed hopeless with that young lad Damien Plessis, wadde?? Keeps losing balls and just cannot pass accurately. Dossena looks capable of penetrating the left. The composure of Torres amazes me. In my Fm08 game. I just signed Kolarov for 28m. haha, quite a decent left back. And I am gonna match arsenal now. GTG BB Thursday, August 14, 2008, 4:59 PM
LOL
Tests are over. Received English paper today. Ahh, B4. 1 more mark to B3 and 2 more marks to A2. LOL Gotta lian my instrument harder, or else get scolding from teacher tomorrow. damn hard leh.... Liverpool. I dont understand why they drew 0-0 with Standard. I just dont get it. Torres doesnt look impressive with Keane. I just don't understand the 20 million used. It could have been used to add a left winger, probably Simao or Quaresma??? Dossena looks impressive, charging down the left flank at every opportunity. Oops. Getting back bio paper tomorrow. Lolz hope i wont screw up. BB Friday, June 6, 2008, 10:10 AM
Unleash the 6+5 rule
I have not been posting for damn long. Cos so busy with school projects etc. Damn. Life has been very great this holidays. Literally I had to go back to school everyday. Shit. Except for some days though. I am feeling quite weird. Liverpool signed Degen on a free transfer. But, what about the transfer kitty that the owners promised Benitez? Chelsea get Boswinga Man Utd may get Daniel Alves Arsenal Got Bakary Sagna And we get Degen.... Let's see if he is a good replacement for Steven Finnan and hope that he will not be another flop like Voronin. Fifa 6+5 rule quota sucks. Why not sign Rafinha? Attacking full-backs are what we need. For left back, Riise has endured a disappointing season, he just could not cross! Aurelio, is too prone to injuries although he has established himself as the first-choice left back. Insua is too young and needs to gain more experience. Our problem is on the left currently. Dossena deal is about to be finalised. Kewell will be leaving on a Bosman. Benayoun seems more promising on the right. Babel has pace, but sometimes he cannot connect properly and always crosses too late. Why put a right footed winger at a left wing slot? Either Benitez signs Quaresma or Andres Guardado. Gareth Barry is a possible replacement. Just that he does not have pace which is an important attribute for a winger. He can tackle etc like gerrard although not to that standard. I feel that Alonso should stay, although we may need to sell him to fund the other transfers. Thats it for today. Btw, I'll be going to Japan tomorrow. Try to post tomorrow Bye Saturday, May 24, 2008, 8:47 PM
I just became a Liverpool FC fan. Most disappointing players this season: 1. Voronin 2. Riise 3. Kuyt 4. Finnan 5. Kewell Most impressive players this season: 1. Torres 2. Gerrard 3. Carragher 4 Babel 5. Alvaro Arbeloa. 1. Voronin: As I have mentioned, he was impressive during the darn pre-season. Could not bang in goals after that. 2. Riise can't cross properly. Benitez is looking for Dossena. I Don't feel like commenting on the other players. You should noe if you watch soccer. However, my praise for the torres-gerrard partnership is effusive. Bye Wednesday, May 21, 2008, 7:18 PM
To Moscow we stride

Fell sick. Fever. Flu. I agree with Mingxun. Sometimes I wish I don't have a runny nose and a sensitive nose. Shit lah. Crap. Went to United Square for lunch. Homed. Things to do: APMOPS script History trial. Projects Day (It's gonna be darn long and complicated...) Interactive Harmony08 Bye, I need to recuperate. Ill. and down with cough. Today had the aviation science sabbatical. Had to use a flight simulator to fly the plane for 2 hours in Austria....so tired after that larh. Initially wanted to stay back in school to do projects day. Then suddenly Shenghui decided to go to King Albert Park to discuss the OT for class camp. Lolz. Jun Hean was making damn lot of noise there, everyone was looking at him.haha. he should be on the plane now heading towards Australia. lol. Miss tomorrow's sabbatical ahha? Shit lah. Tomorrow gotta quiz and after that have to go to air force museum. I am darn confused leh. SOmething....O.o In the EMB it indicates that i have to go for a briefing for the CIP on Saturday tomorrow at 1.30 pm. Then today, they put i got to go for briefing at 1.40pm for APMOPS. Lol. Which one? Both quite important leh. Nahnahnah........ Tom Hicks might not be able to refinance the new stadium for Liverpool. OOPS! Catching the 9pm channel 8 drama. Zzzzzz.......... Ok. byebyebyebyebyebyebyebye. Feeling bored though. Monday, May 12, 2008, 10:10 PM
our fate, our hopes, our destiny, our lives
Today was the first day for aviation science sabbatical. Crap lah. Not as fun and interesting and engaging as the Model Asean Summit held last term. That's the best sabbatical I attended so far because I liked the debating with social and regional issues, rather than sticking or relating to the more conventional facts and laws of science. Although i still kinda like science..... Woah Peizheng, on class blog put some soccer commentary ah....woots. Shit lah. I have to say this, although i don't feel like saying it, but I still gotta say it even if I am not in the mood to say it: MAN U Have WON the EPL!!!!! Yah, I agree Cristiano Ronaldo was a great bargain at 13.5 million pounds. A bag of goals still awaits him. But I feel that the teams that groom players are: Valencia, Barcelona, Arsenal, Liverpool. They train youth players and not buy players. They scout for young talent, not buy big shots. haiz.. Chelsea signed Boswinga from Porto. Just watched RI beat HCI in the Arena by a waffle-thin margin. Wanted to catch a movie today, but decided to play street soccer with the International School people. Thrashed, obviously. Brimming with high hopes, we await the next season. Now John Terry has gotta dent Man Utd's Hopes on winning the double. Haha. Byebye. EMO_____WOOTS** Sunday, May 11, 2008, 9:12 PM
Empty
Happy mother's day....haha Just came back from grandparent's house,,,,,shit lah forgot to switch off the computer before i left. Diao. Liverpool vs Tottenham tonight. Too bad it is delayed. Torres gotta beat the 32 goal debut season record. Looking forward to aviation science sabbatical. Last term was model asean summit. Haiz, need science ACE Points. Byebye, haha lol spastic lame wadde? are u seriously alright? Lets hope Chelsea wins the EPL!! Sorry to Man Utd fans though...... Saturday, May 10, 2008, 8:05 PM
YEah yeah WoAh Woah
Haiz,....now Liverpool news. Harry Kewell is gonna leave. Happy though. Gareth Barry maybe in. No mood to talk about soccer now. Byebye. I realised that after exams, I have been sleeping more indiscriminately than before. ....playing games duh. Thursday, May 8, 2008, 6:35 PM
All I need is you
I have not been posting for a darn long time. Too many stuff and committments....yup. Finally, after five gruelling and blood draining weeks. Officially, our tests are over for the term. Today, we had that English Oral Presentation which I think I screwed it up. Due to a lack of time today because we ate into the recess period. The question and answer session would have to be pushed till tomorrow. That sucks indeed. Haha. anyway I would be the food i/c for tomorrow's parents symposium. Lol. Gotta leave ep3 at 3p.m. Sad news: Liverpool got kicked out of the Champions League. ok. I am starting my gaming spree. Although math will be out by tomorrow. =( BB Tuesday, April 29, 2008, 7:45 PM
I am who
So sian. Damn busy these few days. Umm....no time to post. Thanks Ballack you help to beat Man Utd! Today, I was the chairman for the assembly....So funny, got a play entitled 'Am I In Love' and then Bin Hao was like laughing and jumping up and down like he has a muscle spasm!?!?!?!? Lolx. After school, initially wanted to chiong the English Project due on Thursday. Then Huang Lao Shi sa xi4 ju4 biao2 yan3 is compulsory. Crap lah. No Choice gotta attend it, but we still managed to do quite a lot of the project while waiting. Then Cheng En and I left halfway to go computer lab to type out the darn stuff for english. .........So busy and tight schedule. Chiong to Chinese Orchestra later at 4.15 pm. Wadde! got how many more new pieces to learn! I am still damn noob. Can sightread lah, but very slow. Ok. Tomorrow is the combined sports meet with Nanyang. Oh Yeah Kenneth Lim. Oh shit! Gotta do chinese compo and science paper now. BB Saturday, April 26, 2008, 12:12 PM

Sorry my tagboard/flashbox is down for the moment.....got some complications in the html coding// No time to change it. Ok. Tonight is Liverpool vs Reading. Haha, we got to beat Reading in order to avenge for our 3-1 lost earlier this season. Crap lah, Reading should not have been given a penalty, Carragher didn't even foul Doyle!! After that, Gerrard had his shot crashed against the crossbar. So unlucky. Lets hope tonight will be a good match especially with striking sensation Torres at the acme of his Liverpool career!! Yeah! But........... Just received news that Strong center-back Daniel Agger will be out for the rest of the season due to a reccurrence of his injury, so sad. His career and Liverpool had been plagued by injuries. Wishing that his injury would not cause him to lose his form just like Harry Kewell, who is rumored to be on his way out after his contract at the club expires this season. Fulham have been interested to sign him, but just could not afford his high wages. Anyway, whether Kewell stays or leaves, would not make much of a difference- He does not even have the pace, balance, stamina, off-the-ball characteristics required of a winger. Maybe, the only good aspects of his techincal attributes are that of dribbling and passing. Other than that.......nothing else. I suggest Rafael Benitez get a left winger asap. He just cannot rely on Benayoun and Babel. One day, Babel would have to be a striker, and Benayoun is more adapt in playing as a right winger. Maybe an option would be signing Matias Fernandez from Villareal, or maybe wonderkid Aaron Lennon. Actually I think Benitez made the wrong move of offloading Mark Gonzalez to Betis, just only after one season, he has the pace and the attributes of a great winger. Just that he lacks the experience, and Rafa played the aging Bolo Zenden instead of Gonzalez in the last Champions League final. Mark Gonzalez would have been much more threatening to the Milan defence. Ok. GTG now. Hope Liverpool wins. Byebye =) Friday, March 14, 2008, 9:50 PM
Just came back after Chinese Orchestra practice, damn it lah. Just realised that people from other projects day groups have got their projects accepted, however my group's project is still pending, our mentor has accepted it already but we still need the category coordinator's approval, haiz, so troublesome. Prelims in 2 weeks time. Help me!!! Hoping for it to be successful lah. Just discussed with Chenrui to combine the soccer league with both 2H and 2I. Hope the league can start as soon as possible, probably in week 2. Let's hope the planning can be done swiftly. I am very very pro. Haha, have not completed my Math Assignment yet.......after two weeks since it was distributed to us. Lolz. =) Tomorrow I am going to buy the YangQin so that I can train for the DaZhu... Still very noob. XD I feel like keeping this post as short as possible. Hahaa. Good Night. ................ Thursday, March 13, 2008, 10:11 PM
I am still down with a fever. Help! Haha. Byebye Wednesday, March 12, 2008, 9:14 PM
I am down with fever today, so obviously I cannot go for the council camp today that stretches till tomorrow. Today almost the whole day I was lying on the bed recuperating, looking despondent but I am not emo. Haha. So sad, so sad, so sad, so sad................................................... Liverpool beat Inter 1-0, thats my only consolation....Fernando Torres scored again. Xabi Alonso did not play, Lucas Leiva took his place and the impressive performance was an icing on the cake for that wonderkid. I am kind of tired now, I think I will keep this post short and simple. Byebye Tuesday, March 11, 2008, 5:57 PM
It is already the Tuesday of the March holidays, and life during the March Holidays have simply been 'great'!!!! Wow! I didn't know I had so much free time that I could not even start on my ACE Projects. So far, I have gotten 0 for English, Chinese, Science, Integrated Humanities!! Fantastic! Keep it up!!! (haha..trying to be as optimistic as possible) Now I having a post-prandial msn chat......with tons of ACE needed to be done....... Oh shit!!!!!!!! Just realised I had a council camp tomorrow and I have not even started packing. Ah...........I would be busy again.!?!!??? XD Aiya. very sianz of this already...lets talk about soccer. Tonight is Liverpool vs Inter Milan, for the Champions League. Ok? Jamie Carragher would be a centurion tonight also. Haha. I know I am very lame but the UEFA Cup is not the same as the UEFA Champions League, just regurgitating this fact as some of you keep asking me, "Hey Kenneth, wads the diff???" Lolx Yah, tonight is the second leg. I will not be watching it, just reading the itinerary for tomorrow's camp, it states that we would be staying up as early as 1.30 a.m.! WOww finally I can sleep so early...........in the morning........diao... Eh, how come my tagboard like so stagnant ah?...Must publicize....publicize.....haha..... I feel damn sian also because my Yangqin is not up to standards also and next year is already the SYF and I need to go into the dazhu as soon as possible to train. I am also struggling with my Guzheng and piano. 3 instruments ah? Very relaxing hor? your head ah!!! :p Ok.....我到此停笔。下一次才谈吧!!! But I don't think I can post tomorrow. Lets see........haha Byebye. Monday, March 10, 2008, 7:17 PM
Feeling sianz and also "enjoying" my holiday, I decided to post this............Haha, while listening to music just now, I felt quite emo lah. But don't worry I only get emo if I listen to very very very very sad songs.....so from there you can predict that I listened to a happy and cheerful song(note the sarcasm). Ok...enough of blabbering??!!!??!!!!XDXDXDXD With the permission of my sister, I have written this poem adapted from the original one that was written by her. Of course, only with her permission, I changed part of the content so it would be applicable to a boy, like me. :) The content of this poem is just a figment of my imagination and it has not happened. (This may happen if you are in a co-ed school) Here it is: The 6th gaze............ ![]() The first time I gazed at you.... You were standing there at the bus-stop, wow.... I admit I was speechless, For you became my princess. The second time I gazed at you.... You were jogging at the park nearby, eyes shimmering like diamonds under the blistering heat, but each time I want to go up and say hi, I end up saying 'goodbye'. The third time I gazed at you......... During lunchtime at the cafeteria. White rice, fried egg and bean sprouts. I still remember your exact order. The fourth time I gazed at you...... Saw you performing on stage. So fluent and confident were you. I could only smile and feel proud of you as I watched in the audience. The fifth time I gazed at you.... You were in the library, engrossed in your reading. Amidst with your busy schedule, you still aced your subjects... I was amazed at your brilliance. The sixth time I gazed at you.... School had just dismissed. As you boarded the bus home, I realised to my dismay That you never once did gaze back at me....................... How did you find this poem? Have you recalled similar instances? Haha, pls feel free to tag!!! Ok. I think I am going off now to listen to more happy and cheerful songs........... Aiya! I think the next poem would be just written originally by me lah. Thanks sis! Bye Bye :p Kenneth Sunday, March 9, 2008, 12:42 PM
Ok, I just came back from church and I feel so tired and bored so I decided to post this post??? Haha, I think this season the FA Cup have stirred great shocks. With Manchester United losing 1-0 to Portsmouth due to lady luck smiling on Portsmouth when Man United had a rightful penalty claim and Michael Carrick missing an open goal! Wadde? Sylvain Dystin is pro lah. The ultimate shock is still the 1-0 beating of Chelsea!! I am very delighted=)! Grant had not learnt from Liverpool's mistake when they lost 2-1 to Barnsley...hahahahaha. Liverpool beat Newcaslte 3-0 from goals by Steven Gerrard, Pennant and Torres again XD!! An exquisite finish by the striker and he seems to have developed a great understanding with Steven Gerrard. ![]() Rafael Benitez deployed a 4-4-1-1 tactical move that unlocked the Newcastle defence. I sincerely think that Harper was one of the best players on the pitch although he conceded 3 goals. Ok. I gotta go now. Looking forward to the Inter Milan match coming up. Saturday, March 8, 2008, 10:01 AM
This is the realism of what war would bring. If only this poem had come out during the Literature examinations............................... ~Disabled~ He sat in a wheeled chair, waiting for dark, And shivered in his ghastly suit of grey,Legless, sewn short at elbow. Through the parkVoices of boys rang saddening like a hymn, Voices of play and pleasure after day, Till gathering sleep had mothered them from him. About this time Town used to swing so gay When glow-lamps budded in the light blue trees, And girls glanced lovelier as the air grew dim, -In the old times, before he threw away his knees. Now he will never feel again how slimGirls' waists are, or how warm their subtle hands. All of them touch him like some queer disease. There was an artist silly for his face, For it was younger than his youth, last year. Now, he is old; his back will never brace; He's lost his colour very far from here, Poured it down shell-holes till the veins ran dry,And half his lifetime lapsed in the hot race And leap of purple spurted from his thigh. One time he liked a blood-smear down his leg ,After the matches, carried shoulder-high.It was after football, when he'd drunk a peg ,He thought he'd better join.-He wonders why. Someone had said he'd look a god in kilts,That's why; and maybe, too, to please his Meg,Aye, that was it, to please the giddy jiltsHe asked to join. He didn't have to beg; Smiling they wrote his lie: aged nineteen years. Germans he scarcely thought of; all their guilt,And Austria's, did not move him. And no fears Of Fear came yet. He thought of jewelled hilts For daggers in plaid socks; of smart salutes; And care of arms; and leave; and pay arrears; Esprit de corps; and hints for young recruits. And soon, he was drafted out with drums and cheers. Some cheered him home, but not as crowds cheer Goal. Only a solemn man who brought him fruits Thanked him; and then inquired about his soul. Now, he will spend a few sick years in institutes, And do what things the rules consider wise,And take whatever pity they may dole. Tonight he noticed how the women's eyes Passed from him to the strong men that were whole. How cold and late it is! Why don't they come And put him into bed? Why don't they come? ~Wilfred Owen~ What are your opinions? Pls tag!!! GTG. BB. Friday, March 7, 2008, 6:58 PM
Why do all good things come to an end?
Didn't post for the past few days...had been extremely busy with the sabbaticals ASEAN Summit....projects day stuff (all the nitty gritty issues)........organsing the 2H class gathering.....but too bad......just decided to cancel it yesterday because of a lack of people joining......ah......so busy during the March holidays......I am still doubting whether I should still call it "holidays".........Got chinese orchestra on Monday, Tuesday and Friday and also got Ortus Council camp on Wednesday and Friday..Oh CRAP!!! I just remembered that I had to submit a movie for Literature by the start of Term 2!! What kind of holiday is this???? Also have to download Chinese homework from IVLE...Math ACE to do........haha. I really screwed my this term's ACE... English got 0, chinese 0 math 1, literature 3, humanities 0......u noe what to expect already..... The ASEAN Summit has come to an end sadly...It was indeed a great experience debating and formulating different policies for ASEAN as a collective group of nations. Haiz.....Other than being a delegate for Singapore... I personally liked being in the Economics Committee. Haha! I also made many new friends from different schools, it was a very memorable 5 days, all the jokes...laughter...teasing..sarcasm....will be etched in my memory. ( AH!!!! Sounds so......) I would indeed want to participate in the UN Summit coming up!!! Yeah! Lolx. XDXDXD Haha...I am still elated regarding the 4-0 hammering of West Ham by Liverpool!! Fernando Torres arguably the best Premier League debutant for the past years after Ruud Van Nistelrooy's successful debut in the league with Man Utd. But he has since left for Real Madrid, after a bust-up with Ferguson. What a great and god-like striker! No words can comprehend his skill and I am reiterating the point that his pace, balance, skill, dribbling, and most importantly his finishing is absolutely perfect! Today I also found another Liverpool fan Ming Hao from Jurong Sec during the sabbaticals. His favourite player is Jose Manuel Reina! My favourite players are Javier Mascherano, Xabi Olano Alonso, Steven Gerrard, Torres, Alvaro Arbeloa Coca and Agger. I personally liked the second goal. Haha. GTG. I think it would be a rare chance if I can post again for the mean time>>> So busy. However......bye bye. Sunday, March 2, 2008, 10:34 PM
15 mins to 11pm
I am posting this while watching the Liverpool Vs Bolton Wanderers match. Haha. Gerrard assisted Jaaskelainen in a freak own goal. Gerrard had a shot off target but some how Jussi just pushed the ball into his own net. I hope my joy won't be shortlived, because I am going to sleep. Aha! Just as I finished typing this sentence, Ryan Babel scored! He sliced the ball into the near post after Dirk Kuyt headed the ball that rocked the crossbar. Saturday, March 1, 2008, 8:03 PM
Saturday Evening
Hi all, I am going to keep this post short and simple. Just came back from school and Kenneth Lim's house after doing our Projects Day stuff........Haha! We had a game of soccer for just the four of us, Kent, Peizheng, Kenneth Lim and I, we placed our cans of coke on the pavement and started kicking about, when suddenly Peizheng rammed the ball onto the cans and it spilled. That was fun dude! Lalala Peizheng again!!!AGAIN!!! HAHAHA!! He hit the ball over the fence into the condominium directly opposite! And guess wad!???? Kent, Peizheng and Kenneth Lim just entered the condominium without the security guards permission and just tried to retrieve the ball but it was like in the drain which was 1.7 metres deep! ANyway we still had to ask the security guards to assist us to solve our "mission" LOLX. I am very happy today also because my favourite player Javier Mascherano signed a new long term deal with Liverpool as he was on loan from MSI Sports Group and was also Attracting interest from Barcelona, he is a great defensive midfielder!! (The dude in RED) Friday, February 29, 2008, 8:13 PM
End of the week
Still have to confirm whether we are still going to Kenneth Lim's house for projects. Huh......cannot even contact him leh. Byebye, tired liao Gd Nite, sleep tight, dun let the bed bugs bite. LOL XD Thursday, February 28, 2008, 5:02 PM

BPL - Liverpool 3 Middlesbrough 2 Wednesday, February 27, 2008, 4:06 PM
Phew...just came back from a long and tiring day at school. Feeling so sianz....Haha, just now Kenneth Lim, Dylan, Rui Hao, Han Cheng and I were filming the council video. Wadde? The video that we took was so lame lah, Enying was like whacking me crazily, like he just escaped from a mental hospital, today we thrashed Jun Hean's team 8-1. Lolz, Peizheng scored 5, Nick scored 1, I scored 2. People were mad today. Damn it, chinese teacher gave so much words to learn for the Spelling test tomorrow, still I dun feel like learning it. I want to play PES lah.............. Feeling so bored, so I decided to post this Sparstic and Lame and Stupid and Crazy EmO Elmo video: Tuesday, February 26, 2008, 4:10 PM
Today
Just came back from school not long ago, er, there was the X Country today.....wow.........so relaxing........felt so energetic after the run (sarcasm)............no need to drink water also............ Lolx.. enough of sarcasm, heehee. Just got the names for the people going to Kenneth Lim's house for the 2H class gathering...erm...........about 19 people so far can make it....should be enough........... Oops! Almost forgot that there is the dreaded Chinese Spelling tomorrow. And I have not prepared yet. Wadde?? Thursday getting back English paper, huh, confirm die. Math B4, Physics B4.....Literature???Getting back tomorrow?History really killed me off!.......IS ok lah.... Eh? What chapter are they testing ah for the chinese???? Better go back now to revise lah, just had a game of PES, i thrashed Arsenal 5-2. Haha, Babel's hat-trick again! Ok. ByeBye. Sunday, February 24, 2008, 1:03 PM
The start of a week
I am still very upbeat although I am struggling with my Chinese worksheet and my Science worksheet. This is not just because Liverpool won 3-2, but also because Fernando Torres scored a hat-trick!!! The brilliance of the 26million rated striker is shown by his pace, his balance, and how he swayed Middlesbrough GK Mark Schwarzer. Middlesbrough could have drawn with Liverpool but Sanli Tuncay's goal before the stroke of half time was disallowed. With Jamie Carragher suspended after collecting 5 yellow cards, and Agger not fully fit and Skrtel still recovering from injury, Rafa had to shift full-back Alvaro Arbeloa in central midfield together with experienced defender Sami Hyypia. He looked shaky at first with an unmarked Sanli Tuncay heading in Stewart Downing's free kick. Erm, I particularly liked El Nino's 2nd and 3rd goals, as his second goal rocketed to the back of the net from 20yards, giving Schwarzer no chance. Torres (middle) celebrating with free kick maestro Fabio Aurelio (left) and wonderkid Lucas Leiva. I am very tired already, haiz...still got to do the chinese magazine thing and physics worksheet, dieing liao. XD My heart | My soul | Lies in Anfield Saturday, February 23, 2008, 10:41 AM
The title race hots up
KK, just finished doing my essay to be submitted today through the IVLE, huh, still slacking and the class gathering during the March hols should be on a Tuesday afternoon at Kenneth LIM's house, more details will be up soon later this week Erm, now is time to talk about soccer? The title race is indeed hotting up with more than half of the EPL season finished, many people and pundits alike are saying that the title race is now down to only 3 teams: Man Utd, Arsenal and Chelsea. They have discounted the fact that Liverpool is still in the title race. For me, being a Liverpool fan, I must personally admit that the title is out of out reach this season, and a more reasonable target will be a third or fourth place champions league spot. Even after spending 22million pounds on Fernando Torres in the beginning of the season, Steven Gerrard leading the midfield together with Javier Mascherano, and Jamie Carragher commanding the ever strong and mean Liverpool defence, why isn't it that Rafael Benitez has not found a winning team that has a consistent form? Is it about the much criticised rotation policy? Or is it that some of our players lack the quality to compete with the stars of Man Utd and Chelsea? So, let me take a look at some of out signings this season. Fernando Torres (22million): Of course the hefty 22million price tag indeed is very demanding as he is the most expensive player that Liverpool had bought. He has been impressive so far this season leading the club's scoring charts. He has pace, trickery, technique, dribbling, and most importantly finishing. ( 6 stars) Yossi Benayoun (5million): I was particularly pleased when Liverpool signed him for 5 million. He has been impressive too with 2 hat-tricks already. His dribbling is much better that Luis Garcia's, same for his crossing. One may see him as lacking the strength to go past strong full-backs in the game, but he has the agility to dribble past and evade them. ( 4 stars) Ryan Babel (13.5 million): He has been in great form for Liverpool this season, his pace enabled him to catch up with that of the premier league. He has normally been used as a left winger as a replacement for Harry Kewell who has yet to discover his form after being injured for most of his time in Liverpool. Still yet to see him excell as a striker. ( 5 stars) Lucas Leiva( 5million): This promising defensive midfielder has indeed a great potential to be like Javier Mascherano, a great accquisition by Rafael Benitez! He has performed well also during the 3-0 win over Sunderland by playing as a left winger.(5.5stars) Andriy Voronin (Bosman transfer): I didn't really know much about Voronin until Benitez signed him on a free transfer. Looked impressive at the start like a free-scoring striker, during Liverpool's 1-0 win over Toulouse FC with a great chip. He has the pace, but not the real great techinque required of a really and truelly world-class striker. I still don't get it why it seems Benitez prefers him to Crouch.( 2stars) Martin Skrtel (6.5million) : The most expensive defender in Liverpool's history, costing 6.5million. Seemed to be adapting well in the English game and developng a good level of understanding with Jaime Carragher in central defence, as seen in the 0-0 draw with Chelsea, where Liverpool showed a cutting edge. ( 4stars) ![]() It seems that there are still many positions to fill for Liverpool to mount a serious title challenge against Man Utd and Arsenal. What Liverpool needs: A left winger A right winger A striker A right back A left back I feel that the owners need to really lend their financial support on Benitez, not just relying on his tactical brilliance to win the game. My First Post
I am Kenneth Tan and this is my first post! Let me just inform you that my blog will also be used for Soccer Discussion Purposes too. Lolx this blog is also for you even if you are not a soccer fanatic like I am....... Erm...Just finished exams today. History paper sucked. I died in the Source-based questions, and that essay!?!? Gotta hand up the English essay tomorrow through the IVLE. Arrgh! Today also gotta complete to Chinese Comprehensions, so tiring. XD Kk. Enough of blabbering about the exams and the school work. Let's get down to REAL Business. Haha, I am still celebrating the memorious 2-0 win over Inter Milan. Thankfully, Rafael Benitez came to his senses and played Steven Gerrard as a right winger from the start, although he played Gerrard in central midfield together with midfield hardman Javier Mascherano ( still hoping that he can sign a contract asap). ![]() Just one of a dozen of great tackles and interceptions by man of the match Javier Mascherano (Right) ![]() Marco Materazzi (Left) is being booked for the second time and sent for an early bath following a careless challenge on Torres. ![]() Anfield erupts........ The Memorable team that beat Inter but not Barnsley: Reina Finnan Hyypia Carragher Aurelio Gerrard Mascherano Lucas Babel Kuyt Torres Subs: Itandje (GK) Benayoun Riise Arbeloa Pennant At least Rafa Benitez played wonderkid Lucas instead of Xabi Alonso, playing two defensive midfielders to grind the opposition down. Together with Marco Materazzi's red card the Reds had a great spell of dominance but just could not break the deadlock until Kuyt's superb volley in the 85th minute and Steven Gerrard's sensational goal sealed the win for the Reds. I am just hoping for the Reds to use their Champions League magic for the Premier League. ( The Reds had reached 2 Champions League finals in 3 years.) Watch the video below for the match highlights. |
